The region is now easily accessible from many parts of Europe and the United Kingdom by air. Ryanair flies daily from Stansted to Ancona and Pescara; Ancona is just over an hour away by car and Pescara about two. Car hire companies operate at both airports. Ancona also has flights from several other European cities, such as Brussels, Düsseldorf, Munich, Moscow, Bucharest, Rome and Milan; Pescara has connections to Munich, Frankfurt, Eindhoven, Brussels, Paris, Barcelona and Stockholm. Further afield, Perugia, Bologna, Rimini, Pisa and Rome Ciampino also have Ryanair flights from airports in the UK, Ireland, Germany and Scandinavia. Alternatively, British Airways flies from Heathrow and Gatwick to Bologna and Rome, while Easyjet operates routes to Pisa from Luton and to Rome from a number of UK airports as well as from Amsterdam and Düsseldorf.
Most intercontinental flights to Italy arrive at Rome Fiumicino, Milan or Bologna, though air transat flies non-stop from Toronto to Pescara, Lamezia Terme and Venice as well as Rome FCO; there are car hire companies at all of these airports for your onward journey to Le Marche.
